Previously:		 Educational Assistant (now retired from Medford School district) in 2019, I went back to work part time at Kennedy Ele in Medford. My husband & I have been married 49 yrs in May!

Extracurricular activities in school: favorite activities now:

After working as a full time Educational Assistant for 27 years, I retired from Medford School District 549c in 2016. My husband (Allen Nelson) & I did some traveling until my husbands illness which took us back home. Last fall (2019) I decided to go back to work (Part time) as a Title 1 teacher for elementary education. My husband is doing better now & I love my job & my life. I look forward in seeing you all this summer at the reunion. God Bless, love, Jan

School Story:

I wish I hadn't been so shy. I've gained more confidence through the years, but I thought MSHS was an awesome school and very proud to be a part. I wish I would have gotten involved with more sports, Drama.
My best friends were Connie Cull & Karen von Stein. We loved going to the football games, we went to church together, sang together, prayed together & also loved hanging out at The Ice Cream Palace watching all the cute boys that worked there.

I remember Greg Cull doing those funny car salesmen Stunts during assembly, also remember our football team went to State, also the choir was magnificent! I also remember walking to classes in the winter freezing!
What elementary, junior/middle and high school(s) did you attend and, if not Medford, in what city were they located?

Moved to Medford in the middle of 8th grade and went to MAC

I'm so terribly sorry to hear of Greg's passing. I was friends with his sister Debbie & even went on vacation with the Gleaves family back in about 1967. Greg was always nice to me & I always had a good time around Debbie & Greg. God bless!!

Connie was my best friend from 1966-1970. After she moved away to Santa Rosa, we stayed in touch. She was always very special! Smart, funny, witty, & a good friend! She loved the Lord & we always had a good time in church & choir. Her brothers Greg & Bob & sisters Cathy, Debbie & Barbie were also proud of her & loved her very much! I will miss her very much!

Hi Deb,
I was just reading comments about the loss of your daughter. I’m so terribly sorry. I know we haven’t talked in years but I will never forget your great friendship to me in eighth grade when I was going through a very tough time with my family. Hi Bill, it’s Jan (Hunt) Nelson. Glad to see you are doing well! I thought you might like to know that my Aunt Marilyn ((from Ice Cream Palace) passed away last November. She was 84! Hard to believe right? Hope to see you at the reunion & meet your family. Would you believe My husband & I have been married 49 years next May? Yikes
