I really don't have much to relate here. I worked for Oregon Tire after school and on weekends for the last three years of high school, so I did not have much free time for extra curricular stuff. The high point of my high school experience was the band trip to San Francisco to perform for the half time of the 49er/Bears game. I have been an avid 49er fan since 1956 so this was a great memory, even though Gayle Sayers ran rampant and the 49ers lost the game! Most of my social activities revolved around the church I attended (Medford Friends Church), so a lot of my high school friends were actually Crater kids.

I was drafted in 1969 and did a tour in Viet Nam as a K-9 scout. Went to college at S. Or. State and Linn-Benton community college. Worked for Jackson County Sheriff for ten years. Worked for Salem P.D. as a detective until my retirement. Hobbies included whitewater rafting and mountain climbing. Rafted the Colorado River and climbed Mt. Robson in Canada. I have been happily married to Vickie, now a retired attorney, for 31 years. I have two children who are both (nearly) perfect.
