I am deeply sad about Connie's passing. She was my best friend for many years, my first friend when I first moved to Medford and started 7th grade at McLaughlin. My cheerleader and encourager when I won first place in the Talent show at Mac, and when I became a Grand Officer in Rainbow. We spent many memories together from riding horses at her Poppy and Poos home , to going to visit my Uncle down in Southern California, riding a city bus from Van Nuys to Disneyland ( just the 2 of us). Being in Rainbow Girls together and going swimming at Jackson pool all summer long! She was a sweet kind friend who would play Diana Ross music when I'd sleep over at her home and we'd sing at the top of out lungs and dance to ' Ain't No Mountain High Enough'. She gave me or dear sweet Spirit, our Newfy, b'cuz she knew now much I love animals. Even though we lost contact off and on throughout the years, whenever we saw each other it was like old times again. She passed yesterday, my birthday.
my heart goes out to Faune, her sister, and others who knew and loved her. She will b greatly missed by me and those who knew her well.

It was great seeing and talking with you Mary at our Birthday Bash. It brought back so many fond memories! Looking forward to seeing you post some of your art work here on this site for all of us to enjoy! Add some pictures of your new raised garden beds also. You have aged beautifully and are still sweet! Keep in touch....
